Bridge Division Announcement

Park Derochie Inc. is pleased to announce the creation of a Canada Wide Bridge Division based out of its Edmonton Offices effective February 1, 2018.

With the increasing activities in bridge restoration & refurbishment across the country, coupled with the complexity associated with this work, the creation of a specialized division with a direct focus on this market is required. The creation of the Bridge Division will see bridge bidding and execution across Canada managed out of the Edmonton office, with a focus on complex or larger bridge projects (>$250,000.00).

This centralized collaborative approach will ensure efficiencies are capitalized while reducing risk in this market. This will be achieved through the Bridge Division maximizing resources and knowledge across Park Derochie’s operating companies. This will include efficient utilization of equipment and skilled craft while leveraging the extensive bridge restoration & refurbishment and local area knowledge of our people in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. With growth comes opportunities and to stay consistent with Park Derochie’s values, we look within first to fill those opportunities - we are proud to announce that our current Coating Estimator, Chris Mercer has been appointed Lead Estimator – Bridges and our current Project Manager, William Harris has been appointed Project Manager – Bridges. Both individuals are long serving Park Derochie employees and have extensive experience in the bridge market.

With a focused effort aimed squarely at this market, we are confident that Park Derochie will be able to better service our clients for all their bridge surface preparation, painting, access, and hoarding requirement.
